Food = Cultural Nutrition

Let’s build a platform/calendar for discovering cultural events and its specialities i.e. korean thanksgiving.

Let’s build a platform/calendar for discovering cultural events and its specialities i.e. korean thanksgiving. Lets top/add restaurants/recipes/invitations/experiences for sharing them after.

A Globalization and the merge of different cultures are a sign of time: to overcome the fear of the incoming strangers, why not use something very human: Sharing Food, Cooking together.

B In Zurich there are at the Moment 32% strangers from 170 Nations, 195 Nations worldwide. Lets get to know their background - through food.

C Food and its preparation is transporting knowledge for the food and its ingredients including where it comes from. Combined with information about the country of origin. Topped with Fun.

D We take moments where food is a very important part: holidays. We look for the special events in each country and combine it in one calendar and hook up all recipes or local events. Example: Corean Thanksgiving. Sept 23 - 26., Chinese New year, ongoing right now.

E. Goal: a worldmap where we can scroll the countries and see recipes and cultural events accordingly. It can be a spontanous collection of online recipes/images. If ever we can link it with the ingredients in the shop nearby or the restaurants around the corner or the events happening.
