Challenge Project

OGD challenge

opendata.swiss is a joint project of the Confederation, cantons, communes and other organizations with a mandate from the state. It makes open government data available to the general public in a central catalogue. Since 2016, opendata.swiss is being operated by the Swiss Federal Archives.

Here you can as an example see datasets from the Federal Office for Agriculture, available under open terms of use, which could be ideal starting points for your projects at the Hackdays. In addition this, the government provides various online data services like the Pesticides Directory.

... find 50+ more datasets from FOAG and 2700+ data sources on opendata.swiss

For more information on how data is published here, visit the OGD Handbook, where you will also find details of the Embedding tool used on this page.
